FARROW AND BALL No 289 Inchyra Blue
Chloe Ball, Interior Designer in Charlottesville, VA created this gorgeous vignette at the Kenny Ball Design Center on Ivy Road. She selected Farrow and Ball Inchyra Blue for the walls and trim, paired with this stunning Jane Churchill wallpaper. She uses this color as a backdrop for KBD inspiration and her custom upholstery line. On this day it’s shown with a pair of 18th c. Italian chairs from Kenny Ball Antiques and lighting from The Shade Shop. Constantly changing, you must stop by and see the stunning Phillip Jeffries mural hanging with Inchyra now!
Inchyra Blue has quickly become a favorite of the nine new colors released by Farrow and Ball earlier this year. Designers and clients are using this color to create those cozy dramatic rooms we all crave! Inchyra Blue is a deep aged blue gray first used in the Georgian Inchyra House to complement the moody gray Scottish skies. Lighter than Charcoal, softer than Navy, this deep blue makes us think of nightfall, murky seas, and dulled navy linen. It glows on the wall.
Don’t forget that Farrow and Ball highly pigmented paints are ideal for painting furniture too! This color is stunning in the Estate Eggshell finish on this mid century piece.
