HOPE MORGAN

HOPE MORGAN

Hope Morgan was born into a family of female artists who instilled in her the importance of art-making at a young age. She earned her degree in studio art from Longwood University in 2016 before returning to her hometown of Richmond, Virginia to pursue teaching and painting. Since graduating, Hope has completed several local murals while also showing and selling her work locally.

Hope's work is about the emotions evoked by balancing chaos and the joy of compartmentalization. Her pieces tell a story of intuitive problem-solving through color, shape, and line. She is moved by the natural world and her pieces reflect the meditative sensation of being in nature. When she is not creating, she is absorbing inspiration by means of hiking, spending time outdoors and enjoying live music.
